Registration and payment

A $150 non-refundable deposit is due at registration, paid via Venmo to Thomas Young (@TomahawkYoung). Your deposit holds your spot in the 48-player field.

The remaining balance (the rest of your $750 golf fee, plus any lodging) is due by August 15, 2026 . If the balance is not paid by that date, your spot may be released to the waitlist and the deposit forfeited.

Refund schedule

The $150 deposit is non-refundable at all times. For everything you've paid beyond the deposit, refunds work on this schedule:

Transferring your spot

Can't make it? You may transfer your spot to a replacement player by giving the organizer written notice (email is fine). The replacement must complete registration and pass handicap verification. Any money owed between you and your replacement is settled between the two of you. Spots may be transferred at any time before the event, with no cutoff. A player who transfers their confirmed spot is not subject to the 50% refund reduction, since you recover your costs directly from your replacement.

Weather and course conditions

Golf is played rain or shine. No refunds are issued for weather, and rounds proceed as conditions allow. If a host course cancels a round entirely and refunds that green fee to the tournament, we'll pass that portion back to players where possible.

Field cap and waitlist

The field is capped at 48 players. If you register after the field is full, you'll be placed on the waitlist and will not be charged unless a confirmed spot opens and you accept it.

How to cancel or transfer

Email the organizer at info@createtourgolf.com . Cancellations are effective the date your email is received.

By registering for the 2026 Southern Invitational, each participant agrees to the following.

Assumption of risk

I understand that golf and the activities surrounding this event (including the use of golf carts, walking the course, travel between courses and lodging, and the consumption of alcohol if I choose to drink) involve inherent risks of injury, illness, property damage, and other loss. I voluntarily accept and assume all such risks, both known and unknown.

Release of liability

In exchange for being allowed to participate, I release and hold harmless the event organizers, Create Tour, the host golf courses (Pawleys Plantation, True Blue, Litchfield, and Caledonia), the lodging providers, and their respective owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of my participation, including those caused by ordinary negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by the laws of South Carolina and Tennessee.

Medical

I confirm I am physically able to participate. In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I authorize event organizers to seek emergency medical treatment on my behalf, and I am responsible for any resulting costs. I am responsible for my own health and travel insurance.

Conduct

I agree to follow the rules of golf, the policies of each host course, and all event rules, including pace of play. I understand that organizers may remove any participant for unsafe, disruptive, or unsportsmanlike conduct without a refund.

Personal property

I am responsible for my own equipment and belongings. The organizers and host courses are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

Photo and media release

I consent to photographs and video taken of me during the event being used in tournament and Create Tour promotion, in print, online, and on social media, without compensation.

Acknowledgment

I have read and understood this waiver, I am 18 years of age or older, and I agree to its terms freely. I understand this is a release of legal rights and is binding on me, my heirs, and my representatives.
